Non-Existent Museums

Anthony Alexis is a candidate for the New York State Senate, from District 20. According to his campaign website:

"In 2004, Mr. Alexis founded a museum called the “Caribbean American Museum of Cultural Arts”. The museum, which is the first Caribbean Museum in the Country, was formed to own and hold collections of appropriate artifacts and promote public expression of Caribbean Culture."

A Google search for “Caribbean American Museum of Cultural Arts” shows that Mr. Alexis got some friends together, got a charter from the University of the State of New York, filed some paperwork, put up a very amateurish website, and got a P.O. box, but that there currently is no actual museum. I understand that these are the first steps for any museum, but it doesn't look like they've made nearly enough progress for him to include it on his very short list of campaign credentials.
