Could Be Meat, Could Be Cake...

So, my "day job" sent me to Texas, where I was working in the basement of the Alamodome for a week. We had one day off so a bunch of us drove to a place up near Austin to eat Barbecue. They served us "Family Style", which meant they kept bringing out big plates of meat, mashed potatoes and beans for us to eat.

We also had a big bowl of beans, but it looked just like the empty bowl they gave us to put used bones into, and I accidentally put one of my bones into the beans. Nobody wanted to eat any beans after that. (On the ride back to San Antonio, this turned out to be a good thing.)

Meanwhile, "Nils" was taking pictures of a tiny Gumby and Pokey.

A couple of us ordered blackberry cobbler, and it looked really good, but I had eaten too much meat and potatoes, so I didn't have any.

:: Since then, I've been really jonesing for blackberry cobbler. ::

For a truly cakeian post, you should include dialogue. And more :: ::s.

Checkout 'blackberry cobbler' in the Urban Dictionary.

You'll be happy you didn't have "any".
